Five Star Rating From Our Loyal Clients – Kick’s Off Our National Roadshow

TDW Cape Town

Our marketing and customer relationship team at TDW kicked off our annual roadshow in the mother city – Cape Town. Our main goal was to get in touch with our customers and to find out if they were satisfied with our products and services. In return we gave them new insight into the current POPI Act in South Africa and informed them of the changes in legislation that will take effect in 2018.

Paul Vlaanderen our Managing Director in our Cape Town branch took the lead on the day’s events.

The morning session began with a brief introduction to TDW services and products. Our elegantly decorated decor elements done by TDW team. Special thanks to Marike Engelbrecht – Customer Service Executive who cleverly crafted paper decor Protea flowers out of waste paper for our clients to enjoy during the event.

Colleen Dauth – Sales Manager at TDW welcomed all our guests and clients on the cold morning, and invited them to network and chat over a warm cup of coffee or tea before the presentation began. Colleen together with her team, ushered our guests into the auditorium to find out more about the POPI Act which Virginia Hendricks our national training manager presented.

Key points from the POPI presentation were shared and later discussed in an open forum. It became very clear that many of our clients and guests were not aware of the legislation around the POPI Act, and many of them commented that their businesses or organisations needed training and assistance on this aspect. Others also appreciated the valuable information and commented that the manner in which the information had been set out and presented by Virginia Hendricks, was very informative and easy to follow and understand.

A roadshow is never complete without prize giveaways, and our customer service team Nikki O’Connell – Customer Care Executive and Marike Engelbrecht, handed out prizes to our lucky winners which included an IPad, as well as other promotional branded gifts.
