Company History

The Document Warehouse commenced operation in 1992 as offsite document storage and record management company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It expanded its operations internationally in 2006.

The Document Warehouse is a growing business and currently boasts sites in all 9 provinces throughout South Africa and Africa. Our head office is based in Selby Johannesburg, with regional sites located in Centurion, Kwa-Zulu Natal (Pine Town and Cato Ridge), Cape Town, Bloemfontein, East London, Kimberley, Mafikeng, Nelspruit, Polokwane and Potchefstroom. Our Africa sites are located in Namibia – Ongwediva, Walvis Bay and Windhoek; Ghana – Tema and Kenya – Nairobi.

The Document Warehouse has purpose built records & information management facilities with the capacity to store 5 million archival boxes of records, which equates to approximately 12 billion documents

The Company currently employs hundreds of people within the records and information management sector and has grown exponentially within the offsite document storage division since its inception.
