At The Document Warehouse, we are proud of our people – not just for the work they do in the office, but for the kindness and care they show outside of it. One shining example is Clarisse, a valued member of our team, who recently made a heartfelt impact in the Randfontein community.
Clarisse volunteers with No More Tears Animal Rescue NPC, an organisation that goes door to door in underprivileged areas to help families care for their pets – especially when it comes to sterilisation. Many pet owners love their animals deeply but simply can’t afford the procedure.
That’s where No More Tears steps in. They are a passionate and dedicated group committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals in need. Their mission centres on rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing loving care for animals that have been abandoned, injured, or neglected within their community.
Seeing the urgent need, Clarisse reached out to Hot Cares, the charitable arm of HOT 102.7FM radio station, which supports individuals and organisations making a difference.
Moved by her passion, Hot Cares and Silverstar Casino stepped in to fully fund a Sterilisation Outreach Campaign. This means 15 dogs and 5 cats will now be sterilised – preventing future suffering, reducing stray populations, and improving the welfare of animals and the families who love them.
“Their work doesn’t stop at animals – it touches the families who care for them but can’t afford help,” shared Deon Basson from Silverstar.
This campaign is a true ripple effect of compassion, and it all started with Clarisse’s drive to make a difference. Her actions show that no role is too small, and no gesture of kindness goes unnoticed.
