Its not often that we get to network casually with our clients. That’s why when our head office made the announcement that we would be hosting national roadshow events to meet and network with our clients, we jumped at the opportunity and made sure that we organised two separate events for our Kwazulu Natal branches.
TDW roadshow team arrived in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday morning where we hosted an eventful session that began with our Regional Manager Gill Cooper opening the session with an informative introduction on how to correctly pack and store your information in our archival containers. Our national training manager Virginia Hendricks then presented the South African POPI Act and shared valuable information around the new legislation which will come into effect in 2018.
Thanks to our loyal customers who engaged at the event and asked valuable questions around the new POPI Act. It was surprising to find out that this is a subject that most businesses and organisation often talk about, and rarely inforce.

After the presentation, Gill Cooper and her team created a fun interactive prize giveaway, where our customers stood a chance to win various branded gifts in a ‘pick a box’ game. Congratulations to our winners:
- Sibongile Mabaso from Umgeni Water Board
- Rachel Khumalo from Medi Clinic

Once the networking session was complete, our team headed off to Durban to meet and greet their customers who were again eager to find out more information around the new POPI Act in South Africa. Our sales and customer care consultants were ready to network and answer any questions our customers asked. We also took the opportunity to interview a few of our loyal customers to ask how they would rate our services and products. It was evident that our customers where more than impressed with our level of service and products and had more than two clients mention in particular that Pravesh Singh our Bureau Manager, provided service beyond the call of duty. Another reason why TDW staff are more than prepared to assist and give their best at all times.

The ‘pick a box’ gift giveaway proved to be a great way to have fun with our customers and the winners Joseph Zsitaz and Satish Moonasar from Samsung were delighted to receive their gifts. We ended off the day with a networking session before everyone headed back to the office for the afternoon.
